ASUS ZenFone Lite L1, ZenFone Max M1 with 5.45-inch displays launched in India

ASUS, who has been on a successful streak with the launch of the ZenFone Max Pro M1 and the ZenFone 5z, has today launched two new budget smartphones, the ASUS ZenFone Lite L1 and the ASUS ZenFone Max M1, in India. The phones run on Android Oreo and have minimal bloatware with a few essential Social Media apps pre-installed. Both the phones will be available exclusively on Flipkart, as a partnership deal between the two giants, that kicked off with the launch Max Pro M1.

ASUS ZenFone Lite L1

The ASUS ZenFone Lite L1 features a 5.45-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 720×1440 pixels. The screen has an 18:9 aspect ratio without any notch. Powering the smartphone is a Snapdragon 430 SOC with Adreno 505 GPU. It comes with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage. There’s also a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion. The phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with ASUS’s Zen UI 5.0 on top.

The ZenFone Lite L1 comes with a single rear-facing 13 MP camera which has a f/2.0 aperture lens on it. On the front, the phone comes with a 5 MP selfie camera with a f/2.4 aperture and a flash. The phone uses ASUS’s PixelMaster technology for portrait shots.

Fueling the ZenFone Lite L1 is a 3000 mAh battery. For connectivity, the phone offers 4G VoLTE, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-FI, Bluetooth 4.1 LE and GPS. The phone comes with Face Unlock.

Pricing & Availability of ASUS ZenFone Lite L1

The ASUS ZenFone Lite L1 comes in Black color and is priced at INR 6,999 and the phone will be available during the Flipkart Festive Dhamaka Sale, which is said to happen soon. As an introductory festive offer, the phone will be available for INR 5,999.

ASUS ZenFone Max M1

The ASUS ZenFone Max M1 too features a similar 5.45-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720×1440 pixels. The 18:9 display is covered under a 2.5D curved glass. Powering the ZenFone Max M1 the Snapdragon 430 SOC with Adreno 505 GPU, which is similar to the Lite L1. However, the Max M1 comes paired with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, expandable via a microSD card slot. The phone runs on Android Oreo with ASUS’s ZenUI 5.0 on top.

In the camera department, the phone comes with a 13 MP rear-facing camera with a f/2.0 aperture and has an LED flash. On the front, the phone comes with an 8 MP selfie shooter with a f/2.0 aperture and a selfie LED flash to assist the camera in low-lighting conditions. The rear-facing camera uses Phase Detection AutoFocus Technology.

The battery underneath is a massive 4000 mAh unit which supports 10 W charging rate which 5V 2A. Thanks to the massive battery, the phone can be used to charge other phones with the help of an OTG cable. For connectivity, the phone offers 4G VoLTE, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1 LE and GPS. For securing the phone, the ASUS ZenFone Max M1 provides a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock.

Pricing & Availability of ASUS ZenFone Max M1

The ASUS ZenFone Max M1 comes in Black, Gold colors. Priced at INR 8,999, the phone will be available during the Flipkart Festive Dhamaka Sale, which is said to happen soon. As an introductory festive offer, the phone will be available for INR 7,499.
