BLU studio 7.0 LTE launched with 7-inch HD Display and LTE for $199

The Miami based company BLU has released a 7-inch device with Dual SIM option, they are calling it a smartphone for some reason, it is called the Studio 7.0 LTE. The device comes with a 7-inch IPS OGS display having HD resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels which places the device in a mid-range category.  This device is the LTE variant of the company’s Studio 7.0 which was released earlier.

The Studio LTE 4.0 is powered by a 1.2 GHz 64-bit Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with Adreno 306 GPU. It comes with 1GB of RAM and 16GB internal memory which is further expandable using microSD card. The device comes with an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 1080p video recording option along with a 5MP front facing camera.

The Blue Studio 7.0 LTE runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with no update about the Marshmallow update. It comes with connectivity features like 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS etc. It is powered by a 3700mAh battery which is said to give decent battery life.  The earlier model, Blue studio 7.0 was powered by a MediaTek processor and without LTE support giving the upgrade a boost in terms of specifications. The Studio 7.0 LTE supports 4G LTE Bands 2/3/4/7/12/17/28, which will work on T-Mobile and AT&T networks.

The BLU Studio 7.0 LTE is available on Amazon website in US and comes in Blue, Grey and White colors. It is priced at $199 which is approximately Rs. 12,994.
