Gionee at the event introduced two new variants of the Marathon M5, the Marathon M5 Plus and the Marathon M5 Enjoy. The Marathon M5 Enjoy is a 5.5-inch variant which also sports a fingerprint sensor in the home button similar to the M5 Plus.
The Marathon M5 Enjoy comes with a 5.5-inch HD display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels along with 2.5D arc glass. It is powered by a 1.3GHz 64-bit Quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor with Mali-T720 GPU. It is coupled with 3GB of RAM and 16GB internal memory which is expandable up to 128 GB using microSD card. The device is made of full metal body and is kept sleek even with the 5000mAh battery at just 9mm and weight is just 200 grams.

The M5 Enjoy comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop having Amigo OS 3.1. It has a Fingerprint sensor embedded in the Home button similar to the Marathon M5 Plus. The company mentioned that on voting the front home button location of the Fingerprint sensor got more votes, which is more likely due to the ease of using any finger for unlocking whereas the back placement mostly makes it easy with the index finger to unlock the device.
The M5 Enjoy has the following connectivity features like 4G LTE / 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB OTG. There is no mention about the fast charging feature in this device, we will update once we confirm about it officially. The Gionee Marathon M5 Enjoy version is available in Golden color and priced at 1999 Yuan which is approximately US$ 208 or Rs. 20500.The device will be available from December 25th along with the Marathon M5 Plus in China and is available for order on Gionee online store now.
