Intex Technologies has launched a budget Android smartphone during the IPL season while focusing on the cricket theme, as the Gujarat Lions team is owned by the company and leveraging that, the Intex Aqua Lions 3G is officially launched for a price of Rs. 4990.
The phone is first in the Lions series, a new series that is introduced along with the team. The Intex Aqua Lions 3G comes with a 5-inch 720p display, 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage along with a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion by 32GB. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and the camera combination is a 5-megapixel rear and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
The interesting part about the device is its 3500 mAh battery, which is said to give about 20 days of standby time, and around 6-8 hours of talk time. There is also a battery saver mode that enhances battery life by about 50%. As the name suggests, the phone supports 3G connectivity.
Gujarat Lions Official App for live updates on IPL and Matrabhasha service that will enable communication in 21 regional languages including Hindi. The device also features other pre-loaded apps such as Intex Service, Follo, OPERA MINI, Clean Master, NewsHunt, I-store, newshunt, Freecharge, Saavn, hike messenger etc.
Aqua Lions 3G smartphone with Soft Touch finish is available in White, Grey and Champagne colours. The pricing of the phone is Rs. 4990.
