Lenovo A7000 Plus with 5.5 inch fullHD dispaly launched in Philipines

Lenovo has launched an upgraded version of their popular 4G enabled smartphone A7000 in Philipines. The new variant is named as Lenovo A7000 Plus and has some decent upgrades compared to the A7000. The A7000 Plus comes with an upgrade in the display section, with a 5.5-inch fullHD Display in the A7000 Plus with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels compared to the HD display in the A7000.

The A7000 Plus is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6752 SoC which is similar to the one in the A700 but is clocked at 1.7GHz which is higher than the 1.5GHz in its predecessor, it is coupled with 2GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB internal storage space, which was earlier 8GB in the A7000 both the devices can be expanded with microSD card.  The A7000 Plus sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and 5MP front facing shooter, the camera in the A7000 was a 8MP shooter.

The device is powered by a 3000mAh battery and runs on Android Lollipop 5.0 OS with Vibe UI over it. The A7000 plus maintains the same size and dimensions as seen in the A7000 which measures 152.6×76.2×7.99mm and weighs 140 grams. It comes with all basic connectivity features like 4G LTE, 3G/2G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth and Micro-USB similar to the earlier model. It comes equipped with Dolby Atmos technology which was introduced into its devices with the A6000 by Lenovo.

The Lenovo A7000 Plus will be available for sale in Philipines from Tuesday on a local e-commerce website – Lazada. It is priced at PHP 7,999 which comes to Rs. 11,400 approximately in INR. The pricing and availability of the A7000 Plus in other markets around the world is not yet announced. The Lenovo A7000 was launched in India around April and priced at Rs. 8,999 for the 8GB variant.
