Micromax Canvas Juice 3 and Juice 3+ launched with 4000mAh battery

Micromax has launched two new smartphones in its Juice series, the Canvas Juice 3 and Juice 3+ both are powered by 4,000 mAh battery. The Juice 2 was launched earlier this year in April which came with a 3000mAh battery. Both the Canvas Juice 3 and Juice 3+ are similar in specifications except the Display size, front facing camera and internal memory.

The Canvas Juice 3 sports a 5-inch HD dispaly with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek 6580 Soc supported by 2GB of RAM, it comes with 8GB internal memory which can be expanded using microSD card up to 32GB. The device comes with 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front facing camera.

The Canvas Juice 3 runs of Android 5.1 Lollipop, it supports Dual SIM and comes with 3.5mm audio jack and FM radio with recording. Connectivity features like 3G, Wi-Fi 802. 11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS are present. The main feature which gives it the name “Juice” is the battery which is a 4000mAh battery, giving talk time of 14 hours and up to 21 days of standby time.

The Canvas Juice 3+ comes with a bigger display of 5.5-inch HD display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is also powered by a similar 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek 6580 SoC supported by 2GB of RAM, the internal storage has been bumped up to 16GB and can be expanded up to 32GB with microSD card. It also runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop, it sports a 8MP rear camera with LED flash and the front camera has seen an improvement with 5MP shooter. The connectivity features are 3G, Wi-Fi 802. 11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It is powered by a similar 4000mAh battery but due to the increased  screen size it gives 12 hours of talk time and 21 days of standby time.

The Canvas Juice 3 is available in online and offline stores and priced at Rs. 8,999, it was available on online e-commerce websites from last week and will be avialable in offline stores from today. The pricing has not been announced of the bigger Canvas Juice 3+, it will be available form end of September.
