Moto X Force launched as the international variant of Droid Turbo 2

Motorola had unveiled their Droid Turbo 2 smartphone in the US which was exclusive to Verizon. The international variant of the device is named as Moto X Force which will be the name it will be carrying internationally. The smartphone will arrive in November in UK, Latin America, EMEA and APAC regions. Motorola also announced another smartphone along with Droid Turbo 2 called Moto Maxx 2 which is also exclusive to Verizon in US.

The Moto X Force comes with similar specifications as the Droid Turbo 2, it sports a 5.4-inch QHD display with resolution of 1440×2560 pixels and has 540ppi spread over it. It sports the same ‘ShatterShield’ feature which prevents the display from getting shattered. It comes with an Aluminium rigid core, flexible AMOLED screen along with dual layer touchscreen panels, it also comes with a water-repellent nano-coating.

  • OS: Android 5.1.1 Lollipop which is upgradable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow
  • Battery: 3760 mAh with QI wireless charging and Turbo Charging
  • Connectivity: 4G LTE (supporting Indian bands as well) / 3G, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac 2.4 GHz + 5 GHz with MIMO, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS, GLONASS, NFC

The Moto X Force is powered by a 2.0 GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 810 processor with Adreno 430 GPU coupled with 3Gb LPDDR4 RAM and storage variants of 32GB and 64GB options expandable using microSD card up to 2TB. It comes with a 21-MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and 5MP front facing shooter.

the Moto X Force is powered by a 3760mAh battery which is said to give 2-day of battery like with mixed use and supports Quick Charging. The smartphone supports 4G LTE with Cat. 4 bands along with 3G, CDMA, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. According to the announcement made on a UK blog the device is priced at GBP 499 which is approximately Rs. 49,990 for the 32GB variant and the 64GB variant will cost you GBP 534 approximately Rs. 53,400.
