Samsung Galaxy A9 leaks on AnTuTu, packs Snapdragon 620 chipset

Samsung, the Korean giant is allegedly thinking to launch a new smartphone in the industry. The specifications of the device were leaked on the benchmarking site called AnTuTu. Samsung is said to be working on a new smartphone under its A series. The new device has be dubbed as SM-A9000.

SM-A9000 or the Samung Galaxy A9 will come with a 5.5 Inch Full HD Super AMOLED display. The device will provide 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It will house Snapdragon 610 processor under the hood along with Adreno 510 GPU. The device will also run on Android 5.1.1 out of the box which is a kind of bummer for all those who would love to have the latest OS on their phones.

Samsung Galaxy A9 benchmarkStill the details about the rear and the front camera remain under the shadows. There is no more information on the device as of now but it looks like this device could be a game changer from the company is priced correctly.

The Galaxy A series has done quite for Samsung this year, with the three devices in different price ranges – Galaxy A3, A5 and A7. Later came in the Galaxy A8, the bigger device with a lot packed in for that price, so the expectation with Galaxy A9 is pretty much high, and seems that Samsung is trying to make it right with the successor to the much popular Snapdragon 615 chipset.
