Apple iPhone SE announced with 4-inch display, A9 chipset from $399

Apple has announced the latest smartphone, the iPhone SE which comes with an 4-inch display. The device comes with a design inspired from the iPhone 5. It is a device launched away from the usual cycle which Apple follows and we can see that it is not a successor to the earlier iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S but a more affordable device making a new segment for Apple targeting countries like China and India.

The iPhone SE, pronounced as “Essay” comes with a 4-inch display and is powered by a 64-bit A9 processor and the M9 motion coprocessor similar to the iPhone 6S and according to app the CPU performance of iPhone SE is similar to the iPhone 6s which is quite impressive.

The camera is a 12MP iSight camera, Focus pixels, True tone flash and Panorama up to 63MP, it can capture 4K videos and the iMovie on the iPhone SE can help merge and edit 4k videos. Panorama captures can be taken with up to 63-megapixel resolution, and the camera is powered by a new image signal processor. The other video capture feautures include video capture up to 60fps for 1080p video and 240fps for slo-mo, time-lapse with video stabilization and cinematic video stabilization.
