Just like the A1660 model of iPhone 7, the A1661 model of iPhone 7 Plus works with most of the CDMA and GSM carriers and it is the global model. In the U.S., you will find the phone available through Sprint and Verizon. The other markets where the A1661 model is available include Puerto Rico, Hong Kong and China. Even the SIM-free unlocked version of iPhone 7 Plus will carry this model number.

This model number is available in a few countries, and in the U.S. as well, but due to some restrictions, you can buy it only through AT&T and T-Mobile. The other markets where the iPhone 7 Plus A1784 will be available includes United Kingdom, Canada, France, Germany, Singapore, France, Denmark, Spain, and Australia.

iPhone 7 Plus A1785 details

This model is made only for the Japanese market and the reason for that is, Apple wanted to have the FeliCa Type-F NFC contactless technology in the device, which would help them have the Apple Pay service in Japan. Available through AU, Docomo, and Softbank networks, the iPhone 7 Plus with this model has all the band support for the bands including 11 and 21.
