Xiaomi Starts rolling out MIUI 7 Stable Build Globally

Xiaomi had recently released its latest OS MIUI 7 in August this year which is an Android based OS. The latest MIUI 7 Global Stable Build is being rolled out for the following handsets by Xiaomi – Xiaomi Mi4, Mi3, Mi Note, Redmi 1S 3G, Redmi 2 Prime, Redmi Note 4G and Mi Pad. As we know with the updates, it is gradually rolled out to devices without a pattern to track. If you cannot wait for the update to come to your device, you can download the ROM and flash it on any of the above-mentioned devices.

The other devices in the Xiaomi Portfolio (Mi 4i, Mi 4c, Redmi 2A, Redmi 2S, Mi 2) will also be getting the update shortly. After the release of the MIUI OS which is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop, the company has been testing the beta version of the operating system since its launch in August. There are a lot of new features included in the new OS like complete games on the lock screen, four themes to choose from – Rose, Pink blush, Ocean Breeze and High Life. The response time has been increased by 30% and the battery by 10% compared to the MIUI 6.

A Baby album features is included which recognises baby faces and creates albums on its own. XXL font has been included to help see it clear and better. Smart SMS filter has been added to MIUI 7 which will filter the services messages to prevent all the sorting out. MIUI 7 integration with MI Band has also been improved which helps in putting your smartphone to sleep when the band detects the user is asleep.

Xiaomi  has kept its promise and has started rolling out the update on time, do make sure to keep checking the “about phone”  section, for any availability of OS update in case you are not getting a notification automatically. Make sure you back up your device before going for the OS update, its better to be safe than sorry.
