Xiaomi has introduced the Mi Pad 3 tablet in China; the latest tablet in the company’s Mi Pad series that includes Mi Pad and Mi Pad 2. It sports a 7.9-inches display and is powered by the MediaTek MT8176 SoC, Unlike the other two Mi Pad tablets that had Intel and Nvidia Tegra chipsets.

Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 Specifications:

The Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 packs a 7.9-inches (2048 × 1536 pixels) display with a pixel density of 326 ppi with 4:3 aspect ratio and it is powered by the MediaTek MT8176 SoC Hexacore 64bit processor with 650MHz IMG GX6250 processor. It packs 4GB LPDDR3 RAM and 64GB (eMMC 5.0) internal storage with no slot for microSD. The Mi Pad 3 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based MIUI 8 on top.

In the camera department, there is a 13-megapixel rear camera with 1080p video recording, f/2.0 aperture, and an 8-megapixel camera with a f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video chats. Connectivity features include WiFi 802.11 ac (Dual Band), WiFi Direct, Bluetooth 4.1, and USB Type-C. The Mi Pad 3 also has a massive 6400mAh (minimum) / 6600mAh (typical) battery for all your battery requirements.

But the question stays out there for the Indian users who want a decent Android tablet, will this enter the Indian market? As was the fate with the previous gen. Mi Pad units, this too might end up staying in the home market and not see its entry into the Indian market where the company has its focus more on the smartphone segment as well as with some accessories.
