HP Pro Tablet 608 with Intel Processor, 4GB RAM, USB Type-C launched

HP has announced a Pro Tablet 608 with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage, and this is a Widows 8.1 tablet device and upgradeable to Windows 10 OS version. From August 2015, this HP Pro Tablet 608 will be shipped with the new Windows 10 OS pre-installed.

This tablet device also comes with an optical Atmel digital pen, which not just helps you in writing, but also hover over the screen just like how a mouse is used. On the technical side, the tablet has a 8-inch display with a 2,048 x 1,536 pixels and it has a Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection.

The processor in the HP Pro Tablet 608 is a Intel Atom x5-8500 Cherry Trail processor, which is supported by Intel graphics as well as 4GB of RAM. There is a MicroSD card slot, but the internal storage variants are going to be available, ranging from 32GB to 128GB.

Variants of HP Pro Tablet 608: The variants not just depend on the internal storage, but they are also available as 3G and 4G variants apart from the standard Wi-Fi one, and all these come with Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, a USB-C connector, a microSDXC card slot.

There is a metal-reinforced chassis in the body of the tablet, and there is a Dual speaker on the front with the DTS Studio sound and the software support for noise cancellation. The tablet is said to be giving a battery life of about 8 hours. A keyboard cover is optionally available, and that comes with HDMI dock, Ethernet, and full-sized USB ports.

The Pro Tablet 608 will be first available in U.S. with price starting from $479. There is an offer included as well, where buyers will be getting free subscription of Microsoft Office 365 for one year.
