Nikon D5600 DSLR with 24MP sensor, touchscreen announced

Nikon after launching its first Touchscreen DSLR camera; the D5500 two years ago, has launched the D5600 today. The D5600 comes with some impressive specs on board like the vari-angle LCD monitor that flips and rotates making it possible to capture images at any angle possible. It comes with Nikon SnapBridge that allows you to stay connected to your smartphone via low-energy bluetooth.

This connection allows you to share images, automatically upload to Nikon’s photo sharing service, Nikon image space, synchronization of date & time and location information. When WiFi is enabled you can transfer selected still images, movie transfer, and you can even remote capture still images. It comes equipped with 3.2-inch vari-angle LCD monitor that is rotatable as mentioned above. Now that it features a LCD display, you can adjust the frame advance bar for scrolling through images in full-frame playback, zoom in additionally it also features the virtual Fn button giving you quick access to functions like enabling and disabling of auto ISO sensitivity control, operation with viewfinder have also has been tweaked and upgraded.

Nikon D560 comes with a 24-megapixel EXPEED 4 processor APS-C sensor with no optical low-pass filter and the ISO supports up to 100 to 25600. Other features like Time Lapse, exposure smoothing are present to better enhance your images or videos shot. The design looks exactly similar to that we’ve seen with the D5500. There is no word on the pricing or availability yet.
