Let’s check out the comparison to see how these two phones are similar and how do they differ. To begin with, they are both designed the same and have a metal body.

Similarities between Lenovo Vibe K5 & K5 Plus

  • Both have the same design and build quality
  • Both the phones have 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage with MicroSD storage expansion

Differences between Lenovo Vibe K5 & K5 Plus

  • The first difference is with the display resolution. Both the phones have the same screen size of 5-inch but the resolution is different. While the K5 Plus has a 1080p display, the K5 has a 720p display.
  • The other big difference is with the processor – while the K5 Plus has the Qualcomm MSM8939v2 Snapdragon 616 processor, the K5 comes with the Qualcomm MSM8929 Snapdragon 415 processor. There is quite some difference between the two, though both have the same GPU support.
  • The other difference is as known, with the pricing of the phones.

The factor about the display resolution is quite important as some would prefer having a Full HD display but that comes at a cost, and if for a 5-inch display you are okay with a 720p display. The Snapdragon 616 processor is known to do quite well with the performance but if the CPUs are at question, the Snapdragon 415 is not very different from the SD616.

Which is the better deal?

Not so hard here, because what you pay is what you get. If you have a strict budget of Rs. 7000, you know the Lenovo Vibe K5 is a good one, and for someone okay with paying an amount higher and need a better deal, the Vibe K5 Plus with a Full HD display is the choice. It would be interesting to see how these phones compete against the Swipe Elite Plus, Coolpad Note 3 Lite, etc.
