Fortnite Beta for Android announced, available on select flagship Galaxy devices

Alongside the Note 9 launch, Epic Games, the developer behind the famous Battle Royale & Survival game, Fortnite, has announced the launch of the beta version for Fortnite on Android. Epic Games CEO has announced the partnership with Samsung, making it exclusively available on select Samsung flagship devices, only for a while.

Samsung Galaxy users will be the first to access the Fortnite Beta version before it becomes widely available on other devices as well. After a few days, the company will make it available for other Android devices, but until then, select Galaxy users can relish the exclusivity. Unlike the previous rumors which suggested that the game would be exclusive to the brand new Note 9, the company has announced a list of devices which will be able to access it.

The company has announced a list of smartphones and tablets which will be able to access the Fortnite beta version, which includes the following:
Galaxy Note 9
Galaxy S9 & S9+
Galaxy S8 & S8+
Galaxy S7 & S7 Edge
Galaxy Tab S4
Galaxy Tab S3

Galaxy Tab S4 and the Galaxy Note 9 owners will receive a unique Fortnite Galaxy Skin. The game is available for download on the Galaxy App store, or users can also go to Fortnite.com/Android on their mobile web-browsers, wherein the users get to download it directly from the Fortnite website or the Galaxy App store.

Availability of Fortnite Beta for Android

The Fortnite Beta is available for download on the devices mentioned above, starting 9th August. Compatible Galaxy users can download the app from the Galaxy App Store, right away.

The company is also offering either 15,000 V-bucks with the Fortnite Galaxy Skin or a pair of AKG noise-canceling headphones, to Note 9 buyers who pre-order the device between August 10 and August 23rd, 2018. Buyers can also get both the 15,000 V-bucks with the Galaxy Skin & the AKG headphones, by paying an amount of USD 99.
