Altec Lansing has launched three rugged Bluetooth enabled wireless speakers, the Mini H2O Mini Life Jacket 2 and Life Jacket 2. All the three speakers are IP67 rated for being Waterproof, Dustproof and Shockproof. Apart from being Waterproof these speakers are capable of floating on water is what the company is promising.
Let us look at each speaker in detail, the Altec Lansing Mini H2O (IMW257) comes with Neodymium 2×1′ drivers and comes with IP67 rating as mentioned above. It works as a Speakerphone with Spoken Caller ID and Voice Confirmation features. It comes additional features like Onboard Mic with speakerphone capability, AUX in, Carbineer and Voice confirmation. It comes with wireless range of 33 feet and comes with rechargeable battery up to 6 hours. It is designed to look sturdy and measures 2.25″ X 4.125″ X 1.0″ and Weighs 113 grams.
The Altec Lansing Mini Life Jacket 2 IMW477 speaker comes with a 2×1.5′ Neodymium Driver and also has the same rating as the other two with IP67. It also comes with Voice confirmation, Onboard Mic for speakerphone capability, AUX in and absence of a carbineer. It comes with Speakerphone and spoken caller ID and voice Confirmation. It has a wireless range of 33 feet and measures and weighs a bit more that the H2O because of its bigger drivers at 2.5″ X 6.5″ X 2.375″ weighing 408 grams. It get up to 10 hours of battery life with rechargeable Li-ion battery.
The Altec Lansing Life Jacket 2 is the third Bluetooth speaker which comes with Dual 2′ Neodymium drivers along with 1 passive bass radiator. It also comes with IP67 rating and has features like Voice confirmation, Onboard Mic for speakerphone capability, AUX in, NFC. It also comes with Speakerphone with Spoken Caller ID and Voice Confirmation. It has wireless range of 33 feet and comes with better battery life of up to 16 hours with rechargeable Li-ion batteries. It can also be used as a power bank to charge other devices with its reversible charging capability. It is biggest of the three and measures 3.125″ X 7.5″ X 2.825 and weighs 907 grams.
The Altec Lansing Mini H2O is priced at Rs. 3,600 (MRP), the Altec Lansing Mini Life Jacket 2 is priced at Rs. 8,000 and the Altec Lansing Life Jacket 2 is priced at Rs. 14,000. All three Bluetooth Wireless speakers will be available exclusively on Flipkart in the first week and will be available on all leading online portals, format shos and retail outlets after that.
