Vu televisions has launched a new series of 4K Smart LED TVs in India, with the Iconium series marking its official entry, having two televisions with 55-inch and 65-inch screen size. The 65-inch Iconium 4K UHD TV comes with a Ultra High definition Panel which has a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and A+ Grade Panel. The display comes with 178 degree (H) x 178 degree (V) viewing angles.
The 55-inch Vu Iconium Series 4K UHD smart LED TV comes with a 55-inch display with 3840×2160 pixels resolution having advanced Vudooengine. It has a similar A+ grade panel with 178-degree viewing angle. It runs on Android 4.4 and is powered by a 1.3GHz Quad Core CPU with MAli450MPx4 GPU along with 1.5GB DDR RAM. It comes with 4GB internal storage and built-in WiFi-IEEE802.11N and Network Ethernet Port.

Both the TV’s come with 3x HDMI ports and 4x USB ports with built-in movie support in USB mode. You can use the Miracast feature to project your smartphone display onto the TV and view it on the larger screen. It is compatible with Skype as well helping you make calls on the larger screen. To share content from computer, tablet and smartphone on Wifi or LAM you can use MHL or DLNA my share to sync your screen. The ultra HD display is said to give more than 8 million pixels compared to Full HD display which has approximately 2 million pixels. It comes with True Sound technology which has Vu’s Digital Noise reduction feature giving great sound experience in any room up to 20 square feet.
The Iconium series come in two sizes, the 55-inch 4K UHD Smart LED TV is priced at Rs. 63,000 and the 65-inch 4K UHD Smart LED TV is priced at Rs, 1,35,000.
