Asus has today announced the ‘A’ Series of Laptops in India. All the laptops under the ‘A’ series fall under the mainstream budget laptops category. Mainly there are 3 laptops which have been launched as of now under the A series. This includes A555LF, A555LA – XX1560D and A553.
A555LF has been priced at Rs. 34,190 and comes with Intel Core i3 processor clocked at 1.7GHz. The laptop comes with Dos/Windows 10 pre-loaded and features a 15.6 inch HD Glare display with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels. Under the hood, there is NVIDIA GeForce 930M 2GB DDR3 along with Intel HD Graphics 4400. You also get 4GB of RAM with the laptop. The laptop will provide you with 2 USB 3.0 ports, 1 USB 2.0, HDMI, Bluetooth and WiFi. It would be available in colors like Blue, Dark Brown and Red.
A555LA is the second laptop in this series and has been priced at Rs. 28,990. There is the same Intel Core i3 processor clocked at 1.7GHz which is present in the A555LF. You have pretty much same specifications as that of A555LF but the only difference is the GPU as in this laptop you will just get Intel HD Graphics 4400. There is a 15.6″ display along with 1TB internal storage and 4GB of RAM.
A553 is the last laptop in this series and is the cheapest among all priced at Rs. 23,000. The laptop sports 15.6″ display with 1366×768 resolution. You get 4GB of RAM and 500GB of internal memory along with Intel Quad-Core processor. You will get a single USB 3.0 port and a USB 2.0 port along with HDMI, Bluetooth 4.0 and Wifi.
All the laptops under the ‘A’ series will come with 2 years of global warranty. Recently, Asus also had released the Asus Zenpad tablets in India, and the Asus Zenbook UX305LA was also launched in India.
