Need a Laptop with 64GB RAM, 5TB SSD and 6USB Ports? Eurocom has the answer with Sky X9W Laptop

There have been many high end laptops entering the market recently with pretty high end specifications which might give Desktops PC’s a run for their money and the techie inside you will be jumping with joy when you hear the specifications. The Sky X9W Laptop by Eurocom is being called a ‘mobile workstation’ an upgrade to the company’s existing Sky X9 laptop which was released in October 2015.

The Sky X9W Laptop is the top-of-the-line device with desktop like configuration. It comes with a 17.3-inch 4K Resolution display with 3820×2160 pixels and the other option is a Full HD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution.

  • Processor: Quad-core, Intel Core i7 ‘Skylake-S’ 6700K SoC and Intel Z170 Express ‘Skylake’ chipset along with the other option being Intel Core Skylace-S i5-6600L or Core ‘Skylace-S’ i7-6700 SoC
  • GPU: 8GB Nvidia Quadro M5000M, 4GB Nvidia Quadro M3000M, or a single 200W desktop class 4GB Nvidia GeForce GTX 980
  • RAM and Storage:  16GB of DDR4 2133MHz RAM which can be upgraded up to 64GB DDR4 2666MHz RAM and the Storage is can be up to massive 5TB of SSD with RAID configuration

The Sky X9W comes with multiple options for the processor which range from Quad-core, Intel Core i7 ‘Skylake-S’ 6700K SoC and Intel Z170 Express ‘Skylake’ chipset and the other option which is available to choose form is the Intel Core Skylace-S i5-6600L or Core ‘Skylace-S’ i7-6700 SoC. To support this processor is the RAM which starts from 16GB of DDR4 2133MHz RAM, and can be pushed up to 64GB of DDR4 2666MHz RAM. On the storage front you can upgrade the device to up to 5TB SSD storage with RAID 10 configuration.

To take care of the graphics the laptop comes equipped with 8GB Nvidia Quadro M5000M, 4GB Nvidia Quadro M3000M, or a single 200W desktop class 4GB Nvidia GeForce GTX 980. It comes with multiple fans to help in cooling down the powerful processor. It comes with USB 3.1 Type-C port, five USB 3.0 ports, a pair of Mini Display ports that can power up to four monitors, an HDMI outlet, one headphone, one mic and two RS45 ports. The Laptop measures 428x308x45mm in dimensions and weighs 4.8kgs. It runs on Windows 10, Windows 8.1 and Windows 7 OS. It is equipped with Fingerprint scanner for added security.

The Eurocom Sky X9W is priced at$2,930 which is approx Rs. 198,000 for the basic model and with the maximum configuration costs a whooping $11,473 which is approximately Rs. 775,000 and come with a carrying case and 3 year warranty.
