Best budget Android phones to get under Rs. 6,000

With the storm of Chinese companies into the market, getting hands on an affordable yet powerful smartphone has become a reality. If you are on a tight budget and want to get all the features of a decent smartphone, here is a list of smartphones which you can get your hands on priced below Rs. 6,000.

The list is ever expanding with new smartphones making way every day bringing better smartphones at rock-bottom prices. Note: We have used each of the phone for a considerable amount before listing it here, and although there might be some competitive devices, we don’t list them without testing them.

This is the recently launched younger sibling of the YU Yuphoria which surely makes it to the list of the best affordable smartphones under Rs. 6,000. It comes with a 4.2-inch HD display with Corning Gorilla Glas 3 protection. The Yunique is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor with Adreno 306 GPU supported by 1GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage expandable using microsD card. It runs on CyanogenMod 12.1 with Android v5.1.1 Lollipop.

With the Snapdragon 410 processor it is one of the best in the list with only the Coolpad Dazen 1 and Redmi 2 sporting the processor. The Yu Yunique is priced at Rs. 4,999.

This is one of the best and most successful budget smartphones in the market, it comes with a 4.7-inch HD display and is powered by a Snapdragon 410 Processor with 1GB RAM which is seen in the YU Yunique and other devices priced in the 10k range is surely a great budget device. Xiaomi has also included an 8MP rear camera and it comes with 8GB of internal storage. It runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat with MIUI over it.

The Xiaomi Redmi 2 is priced at Rs. 5,999, there is another variant which comes with a 2GB RAM and called as Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime which is priced slightly more at Rs. 6,999.

This is another smartphone under the Rs. 6000 mark which will get you a device powered by a Snapdragon 410 SoC. The Dazin 1 form Coolpad comes with a 5-inch HD display and as mentioned powered by a Snapdragon 410 SoC and supported by 2GB RAM, with the other two devices like YU Yunique and Redmi 2 having only 1GB of RAM. The device sports a 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera.

The device runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat, with the processor and bigger RAM at a slightly higher price in comparison to the Yunique and Remdmi 2 this is one of the best smartphones in the Rs. 6000 price range. The CoolPad Dazen 1 is priced at Rs. 5,999.

Lenovo A2010

The Lenovo A2010 is touted as the cheapest smartphone with 4G connectivity, the A2010 comes with 4.5-inch HD IPS display with 720×1280 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.0 GHz Mediatek MT6735M Quad Core processor supported by 1GB of RAM. The device comes with a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front facing camera which is a bit lower in specifications compared to the other devices in the list.

The Lenovo A2010 runs on Android 5.1 with Vibe UI over it. It runs on Android 2000mAh with removable battery. The device supports 4G LTE supporting Indian bands. The A2010 is priced at Rs. 4,990 and is one of the cheapest 4G LTE supporting smartphone.

This is another smartphone which can be called the cheapest 4G smartphone with some decent specifications like 5-inch FWVGA IPS display with 720×1280 pixels resolution. It is powered by 1.1 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor which is not the best processor in this list. It sports a 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 2MP front facing camera. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Expect 5.0 over it.

It is powered by 2300mAh battery and supports 4G LTE along with Micro-USB which supports fast charging. The device is priced at Rs. 4,999 and can be compared to the Lenovo A2010 and the YU Yunique which are also priced similarly. It has decent options, and we are including the Canvas Xpress 2, which sports a 5-inch HD IPS display and is powered by 1.4GHz Mediatek MT6592M Octa-core processor with Mali 450 GPU which is supported by 1GB RAM and comes with 8GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB using microSD card.

It runs Android 4.4 Kitkat OS which can be upgraded to Android Lollipop. It comes with 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash having 1/3.06-inch Omnivision sensor and 2MP front facing camera. It is powered by 2500mAh battery, it is priced at Rs. 5,999.
