Intex Elyt Dual with dual-lens front camera, 2GB RAM priced at Rs. 6999

Intex Technologies has expanded its smartphone portfolio by launching the new Intex Elyt Dual smartphone that comes with a dual-lens front facing camera combination for selfies. As the craze for selfies has gone higher, companies have taken this as the major factor and brought in good selfie cameras and that’s what Intex Elyt Dual brings with the 8MP+2MP camera combination on the front. In this price range, there are a couple of phones including Redmi Y1 and Karbonn K9 Smart Selfie.

The Elyt Dual comes with a 5-inch IPS display with HD (720×1280 pixels) resolution and there is a 2.5D curved glass on the top of it. Internally, the phone is powered by the 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum 9850 processor along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage, and that can be expanded with the MicroSD card. While as mentioned above, there is a dual-lens camera setup on the front, the back of the device as well comes with an 8-megapixel camera with the LED flash support. Some of the important features of the camera app include Bokeh Effect, Background Change Effect, and 3D Noise Reduction (3D NR), and Night Shot mode.

Intex claims that the phone also has a Spy Cam feature that would discreetly capture pictures and save them in the gallery. Another interesting feature that the phone has is the Dermabrasion feature that lets you remove the scars and pimples from the face in the picture captured.

The smartphone has Android 7.0 Nougat OS with apps like Swiftkey, QR scanner, Databack pre-installed and there is a 2400 mAh battery to power it. It is priced at Rs. 6999.
