Xiaomi is reportedly gearing up for an upcoming launching spree. This time, the Chinese company will be focusing on flagship devices. Now, a leaked screenshot has added the possibility of a brand new Mi Note 2 Pro with a massive 8 GB RAM and 256 GB internal memory.

For quite some time, we have been hearing about the successor of the Mi Note family. An anonymous Weibo user has disclosed a screenshot of the rumored smartphone. It shows the forthcoming handset running Android 7.0 Nougat layered with MIUI 8. The Mi Note 2 Pro is seen to be powered by some unknown branded processor operating at a frequency of 2.6 GHz combined with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of inbuilt storage.

Till now, we knew that the new generation Mi Note Pro would house a Snapdragon 821 Soc. But we all know that the chipset runs at a maximum clock speed of 2.4 GHz. This indicates that Xiaomi may be using a processor of some other brand or just an overclocked variant of the Snapdragon 821.

Speaking about the other specifications, the Mi Note 2 Pro will possibly sport a 5.7-inch QHD Dual curved display. The forthcoming flagship is also presumed to feature some with some kind of dual camera arrangement whose details have not yet outed. There will be a USB Type-C port along with stereo loudspeakers and a fingerprint sensor integrated with the Home Button.

The speculated handset will probably be fuelled by a 3600mAh battery cell and may also come in lower storage variants. Xiaomi is expected to reveal the Mi Note 2 Pro at the China National Convention Centre on September 27. That being said, all these are vague presumptions, and we recommend you to take it with a pinch of salt.
