Capturing screenshot on Oppo R7 Lite – Physical buttons

The physical button combination is the standard one that we see on any Android smartphone, with some exceptions. To take a screenshot, you need to press the volume down and power button together, and the screenshot gets captured instantly.

Using software options – Gesture feature

Though the physical key option is much easier to remember, there could be a reason why users might look for an alternative method, and one of the reasons could be improper functioning of the physical key. For them, there is a gesture feature included.

To activate that, you need to go to Settings > Gesture & Motion, and here, tap on Screen-on gestures option. You will find an option called “Gesture screenshot”, which has to be activated so that you can capture a screenshot using a gesture on the screen.

To take the screenshot capture – slide up and down using three fingers together and the phone would instantly take a screenshot.

Now that the screenshot is taken, you can edit it and either crop, or draw something if you wanted to do so, and share the screenshot directly from the notification panel.

An easy guide but the gesture feature that we highlighted here is fun and useful at the same time. Check out the Oppo R7 Lite page to find more tips and tricks of the phone.
