Customers on Airtel corporate postpaid plan can now use prepaid data packs

To stay ahead of the competition Airtel has introduced an industry first feature, the ability for postpaid users to use prepaid plans. Yes you heard it right, now consumers who are using Airtel’s corporate postpaid plan can avail this feature which allows them to use data packs for 3G and 4G services over their available postpaid corporate plan.

There are certain postpaid customer plans where the company does not allow or puts a limit on the use of mobile internet on their connections, for these consumers who are forced to use two SIM’s to get mobile data can avail this feature and get prepaid data plans for their post paid connections. The prepaid data plan can be recharged using the regular mode of recharge and it will not be included in the postpaid plan.

Airtel prepaid packs for corporate post paid customers

The prepaid recharge can be done through any retail channel, online on his/her mobile phone. The standard prepaid data recharge starts from Rs. 99 and increases depending on the data pack you choose. This will help in users who are using two SIM cards to get internet.

Commenting on the new initiative, Srinivasan Gopalan, Director – Consumer Business, Bharathi Airtel (India & South Asia), said, “Flexibility is the core of our postpaid proposition, with Airtel myPlan offering infinite choices to the customers to create their own mobile plans. Now with ‘Prepaid on Postpaid’, we are offering enhanced flexibility to our corporate customers while simplifying their data experience. We have received extremely positive response to this product.”

The plans available are for 3G and 4G Data Packs and you can choose from the various plans available starting from Rs. 99 for 300MB, Rs. 251 for 1GB 3GB Data for 28 days, extending up to Rs. 1249 more data limit.
