Doze App for Android Lollipop

New Doze App to bring Marshmallow battery saver features to Lollipop

After the Android 6.0 Marshmallow was released, the most liked feature by its users was “Doze mode” which was considerably increasing battery life or stand by time of the device. Many users who did not get the Marshmallow update can now enjoy the Doze feature with the new Doze App for Android users. Only some devices like Nexus series devices, Motorola Moto X Style, Infocus M812 and M370, and other devices have received the Marshmallow update.

The new app gives all the functionality of the Doze feature in Marshmallow to any Android device, it stops certain tasks and apps from running in the background and also saves data by not connecting to your data network when your phone is in sleep mode or when the screen is turned off, you will be able to receive messages, notifications etc even when the screen in turned on.

The App even cuts out the unauthorized apps from running and accessing your data connection when the screen is turned off. This essentially saves a lot of battery life as it reduces wakelocks, browser redraws as there are many other apps which run in the background without the user being aware of it..

You do not have to do much with the app after being installed, you have to tell which apps should be allowed to work in the background or not for messenger apps. Doze App creates a VPN network to provide the battery saving features to your smartphone. The standalone Doze app starts as soon as the screen is turned off unlike the dose feature in Marshmallow which starts when your phone is inactive for half an hour.

The App is available on Google Play Store for Free. It is developed by YirgaLab and positioned under the Productivity section. The App is available for Free and is compatible with Android Lollipop OS as well. You can download and install the app from here – Doze App
