Philips Flite headphones range comes with slim design, light weight

Philips Flite is a new range of ultra-light and slim headphones from Gibson Innovations, which are designed for the listeners on-the-go. Announced at the CES 2016 event, the Flite series has three different headphones, including Aerolite, Everlite and Hyprlite, two of which are over-the-ear headphones, while Hyprlite are earbud headphones.

The Aerolite headphones are already available in the U.S., while the other two headphones although were showcased at the CES event in Las Vegas, they will be available in the coming months.

These are made with titled soft cushions over the speaker plates so that a proper seal is made for enhanced sound isolation, and the headband is kept quite slim to have a minimalistic look while the glossy oval ear shells give a sleek finish to the headphones.

These headphones feature 32 mm high power speaker drivers, and they come in black/gold, or white/rose gold options. There is a tangle-free flat cable provided, and the headphones can be folded for easier storage.

Philips Flite Hyprlite

These are the earbuds that come with a compact design though keeping them fit the contours of the ear. They are angled for a better comfort and Hyprlite features bass tubes in the earcans that increase air ventilation to pump out deep, rich bass.

The Hyprlite headphones come with 12.2mm speaker drivers, and the color options available for these include black with a dark chrome finish, and white with a rose gold metallic gloss finish.

The Flite range of headphones are available in the United States, and here are the details.

  • Aerolite headphones: $29.90 (available from Jan 2016)
  • Aerolite headphones with mic: $34.90 (available from Jan 2016)
  • Everlite headphones with mic: $19.90 (available from April 2016)
  • Hyprlite headphones: $19.90 (available from June 2016)
  • Hyprlite headphones with mic: $24.90 (available from June 2016)
