After recently launching its first smartphone with a fingerprint sensor, the Intex Aqua Secure, Intex has now launched a more affordable smartphone having both of the necessary features – a fingerprint security, and 4G LTE with VoLTE support. Named as the Intex Cloud String HD, the phone is going to be sold for Rs. 5599.
This budget 4G smartphone comes with a 5-inch HD on-cell display with a 2.5D curved glass screen on top. The smartphone is powered by a quad-core Spreadtrum processor and there is 1GB RAM along with it and 8GB internal storage along with a MicroSD card support for storage expansion.
The phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and it has an 8-megapixel Samsung S5K3H5 sensor camera with F/2.2 aperture and Dual LED flash on the back while a 5-megapixel front-facing camera is provided for selfies. It is a Dual SIM phone and it has the FM radio app pre-installed.
As for the connectivity, apart from the standard options, there is support for 1800MHz FDD-LTE (band 3) and 2300MHz TDD-LTE (band 40) along with VoLTE support for HD video calls. The phone has a 2200 mAh battery, and the color options available are Black and White.
This is probably the most affordable smartphone with a fingerprint sensor currently, and it is a mirror-glass sensor just like the one on LeEco Le 1s.
