Yu released their first Android Smartphone, the Yu Yureka, a few months back, and has been making rounds in the news ever since. In India, the Yu Yureka sells via Amazon India for RS. 8,999 and features the best bang for the buck. The Yu Yureka features a 5.5 inch 7220p HD display, a Snapdragon 615 octa core processor, 2 GB of RAM, 13 MP primary camera and a 5 MP secondary camera along with a 2500 mAh battery.
Well, even though the Yu Yureka is one of the best options for an Android Smartphone below RS. 10,000 in India, as any other Smartphone, it is not completely fault free. And users have been complaining lately about some issues regarding the Yu Yureka.

Proximity Sensor Bug in Yu Yureka
One of the most common issues faced by users of Yu Yureka is a bug related to the proximity sensor on the phone. The issue is regarded as the screen remaining dark during calls even if you move the phone away from your ear.
This issue was widely raised in the Yu Online Forums and the Technical Support team has promised for a software fix for this issue. However, some users claim it to be a hardware issue rather than a software based problem.
Users have also claimed that tightening the three screws on the back or else blowing air through the 3.5 mm headphone jack have fixed the issue. However, if you feel the issue being hardware related, then we recommend you to contact the Amazon India Support Team and then get a replacement device.
Issues Regarding the SIM Slot of the Yu Yureka:
Another commonly regarded issue on the Yu Yureka is of the SIM slot of the device. Especially in the secondary SIM card slot. Issues include the device not recognizing or registering network with the SIM card inserted into the secondary SIM card slot.
Adjusting your SIM card to properly align with the SIM reading chip can help solve the issue. If you have cut a standard SIM to fit into the SIM slot of the Yu Yureka, then we would recommend you to get a new SIM from your mobile network provider with pre-cut MicroSIM dimensions.
And if your issue is related to your device not registering your SIM to the respected network, then navigate to Network Settings from your device and try to search for the Mobile Network manually, instead of the preset automatic mode.
Some users have also complained about receiving a “Can’t connect to Camera” warning while launching the camera app on their Yu Yureka Smartphone. If you are also facing this issue, then you can fix this issue by going to Applications option in the Settings menu, then clicking on App Info and then clearing the cache.
