Xiaomi has just introduced the MIUI 8 interface version with loads of changes, updates to features, and the introduction of new features as well. The first device to have the new MIUI 8 is obviously the one that was introduced today – the Xiaomi Mi Max.
There are a lot who already are curious to know whether the Xiaomi phone they own will be getting the MIUI 8 update on their device. And for most of you, it is a good news. The list of phones that will get the MIUI 8 update is quite long, and except for a couple of phones, all of them will be getting the update.

The Redmi 1, 1s and 2A will be the only phones not getting the upcoming MIUI update.
The new features are pretty cool, and you will be seeing not just the vibrant colors and animations, but security features for SMS, long screen capture, newer photo and video editing features, calculator features that allow for conversions, and a lot more.
The release date is set for June 2016, before which users can apply for the closed beta update that will be released on May 16th and it will be for the MIUI forum participants, and on June 1st, the first Open beta will be released. On June 17th, MIUI 8 will enter the Developer edition.
