LeEco Le 1s Eco vs. Coolpad Note 3 Plus Comparison – Simlarities & Differences

LeEco Le 1s was already a pretty strong phone for what it packed, but Coolpad’s first phone Note 3 in India too was a killer for the price. Both the smartphones were so good that they could take on each other and one would not find it easy to choose a winner in them, but now, both the models get a variant. LeEco launched the Le 1s Eco while Coolpad came up with the Coolpad Note 3 Plus.

Let’s compare both the phones and see which one now seems better of the two since LeEco has decided to offer a lot more than what the Le 1s already offered, this time with the software side. LeEco Le 1s Eco vs. Coolpad Note 3+ Differences

  • LeEco Le 1s Eco comes with 32GB internal storage that is fixed and there is no expandable storage, but the Coolpad Note 3 Plus has 16GB internal storage with a MicroSD card slot helping in storage expansion by a further 64GB.
  • It is a Li-Polymer battery in the Le 1s Eco that supports fast charging with USB Type-C connectivity while the Note 3 Plus has a standard Li-ion 3000 mAh battery that does not have fast charging.
  • The UI is different in both the phones, where the Le 1s Eco has EUI running over Android Lollipop while it is CoolUI running over Android Lollipop in Note 3 Plus.
  • The processor is a major difference in both the phones. While both of them have a Mediatek chipset, it is the Helio X10 chipset powering the Le 1s Eco and MT6753 chipset powering the Note 3 Plus.
  • The Le 1s comes with an IR blaster to help as quick remote while the Note 3 Plus doesn’t have one.

Price difference

The difference in price is quite a bit, and Coolpad did a good job by increasing the screen resolution of the phone but not changing the price as the Coolpad Note 3 Plus, i.e. Rs. 8999. The LeEco Le 1s Eco offers a lot more on content side but the price isn’t changed much, and you get it for Rs. 10899.

Which phone is better?

Let’s talk practically about it. The Le 1s Eco surely has a better build quality, a great display, and a better camera combination, but the Coolpad Note 3 Plus comes with a better battery performance, lesser price, and there is no real difference noticed with the performance of the two.

The LeEco Le 1s Eco could take a better edge because of the free 1-year subscription (worth Rs. 5880) with the purchase of the device, and the subscription is of LeEco membership that includes free music streaming and offline storage, free movie streaming online, free TV channels, and 5TB cloud storage from LeEco.
