Lenovo has announced two new convertible laptops under the Yoga series, the Yoga 710 and Yoga 510 along with a 2-in-1 tablet called the Ideapad MIX 310 at the event which also saw the launch of two new smartphones under the Vibe series, the Vibe K5 and Vibe K5 Plus.
The Yoga 510 convertible Laptop comes in two screen sizes of 14-inch and 15-inch FullHD resolution with Touch display having resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The convertible laptop is powered by Intel Core i7 processor or Pentium Skylace processor and optional Radeon R7 M460 2GB graphics. The device supports up to 8GB of RAM and storage space up to 1TB HDD or up to 256 GB SSD. It comes with 1MP fixed focus CMOS sensor with 720p resolution.
The Yoga 510 convertible Laptop comes with connectivity features and ports like 2x USB 3.0, 1x USB 2.0 (always-on), HDMI, SD card reader (supports MMC, SDHC, SDXC and SD), audio combo jack. It runs on Windows 10 Home Operating System. It measures 1.75kgs for the 14-inch model and weighs 2.08kgs for the 15-inch model along with Kardon audio.
The Yoga 710 convertible Laptop comes in two screen sizes of 11.6-inch and 14-inch FullHD resolution with Touch display having resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The convertible laptop is powered by Intel Core M5 processor or sixth generation Intel Core i7 processor and optional Integrated Intel graphics or Optional Nvidia GFX GeForce 940 Max. The device supports up to 8GB of RAM LP-DDR3 or DDR4 and storage space up to 256 GB SSD. It comes with 1MP fixed focus CMOS sensor with 720p resolution.
The Yoga 710 comes with connectivity features like 1×1 or 2×2 A/C Wi-Fi+, Bluetooth 4.1 or 2×2 A/C Wi-Fi+, Bluetooth 4.1 along with ports like 1x USB 3.0 (always-on), micro-HDMI, audio combo jack and in the other variant 2x USB 3.0 (1x always-on), micro-HDMI, SD card reader (supports MMC, SDHC, SDXC and SD), Display Port (combined with HDMI), audio combo jack. It also runs on Windows 10 Home.
The third device is the Idea MIX 310 which is a 10.1-inch tablet having fullHD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and is powered by Intel Atom X5-8300 processor clocking at 1.44 GHz (Cherry Trail). It comes with integrated Intel graphics. The tablet comes with 2GB of RAM and 128GB eMMC internal storage space. The tablet sports a 2MP front facing camera and a 5MP rear camera. It comes with connectivity features like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 with optional 4G LTE. It claims a battery life of 10 hours and weighs 580 grams in weight. It has a detachable keyboard option as well which turns it into a Laptop and comes with 4G LTE option in the keyboard.
