Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus with 5-inch FullHD display, Snapdragon 616 SoC launched at MWC 2016

Lenovo has launched two new device in the Vibe series the Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus and The Lenovo Vibe K5.  Both the device come with similar external design and display size as well, the device sports a similar 5-inch display but having higher resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The device is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor with Adreno 405 GPU.

The Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus comes with higher specifications in terms on display resolution and processor, the rest of the specifications are similar to that of the Vibe K5. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage space which is expandable using microSD card up to 32GB.

Specifications of Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus:

  • Display: 5-inch with fullHD IPS display having  resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels
  • Processor: Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor with Adreno 405 GPU
  •  RAM and Storage: 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage space expandable using microSD card up to 32GB
  • Camera: 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front facing camera
  • OS: Android 5.1 Lollipop
  • Connectivity: 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS
  • Battery: 2750mAh

It comes with 13MP rear camera with fullHD video recording capability and LED flash, the front camera is a 5MP shooter. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and is powered by a 2750mAh battery which is similar to the one in the Vibe K5.

The Vibe K5 Plus supports 4G LTE and comes with Dual SIM option, it has stereo speakers on the back with Dolby audio to give the enhanced audio experience. Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus is available in Silver, Champagne, Gold and Graphite Gray colors and is priced at $149 which is approximately Rs. 10,200. The Vibe K5 Plus will be available form March 2016.
