While the rollout of the Jio Preview Offer is not being officially confirmed by many Reliance Digital stores, we are seeing some good brands being included by Reliance for the same and the phone owners can rather generate the offer code and visit the store to get the SIM card.
Now, after Samsung, LG, and LYF, you can get a Jio SIM card if you have a smartphone from ASUS or Panasonic. It is not for every phone model from these brands but for quite a few of them. Also, you cannot directly show the phone and take the SIM card, because for these phones, you’d rather have to generate the invite code on the phone by downloading the MyJio app.

How to generate the offer code?
To generate the offer code on your smartphone, first ensure that your phone is one listed above. If it is, open Google Play Store and download MyJio app there. Then, open the downloaded app and you’ll be able to find the option to “Get Jio SIM”, and tapping on that will take you to the next page to enter the details like location, etc., and a few instructions are then given to you before the offer code shows up.

What documents should I show to get the Jio SIM card?
If you got the offer code already, you need two documents – an address proof, and an ID proof. Along with that, a passport photo will be required.
Some users are complaining that they are not able to generate the code on their ASUS or Panasonic phone. This is now a known issue and if you are not able to generate the code, you should try to download the APK of the previous version of MyJio app, which has worked for some. Otherwise, first verify whether your ASUS phone is in the list of devices applicable to get the update. If it is and you are not able to generate the invite code, you could walk into the Reliance Digital store and get it checked with them. There’s no guarantee that everyone would help, but we’ve seen the Promoters helping people in getting the code.
