The latest flagship from HTC is launched in India, after getting introduced in April. The HTC 10 is official in India and after the recent developments about the chipset used in the device, we are finally getting to see the one with Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor in India. It was the HTC 10 Lifestyle with Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 that was said to be coming to India but later, the company officials clarified that they would not be bringing this variant to India.
The HTC 10 comes with a 5.2-inch Quad-HD display (2560 x 1440 pixels resolution) and under the hood, as said above, is the quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset powering the phone, along with Adreno 530 GPU and 4GB of RAM. The device has an all-metal body this time and although the edges of the phone are chamfered, they can be easily differentiated from the others because of the thickness of those cross cuts.

The phone comes with a 12-UltraPixel camera on the back and there is a 5-megapixel camera on the front, and interestingly, there is Optical image stabilization provided with both the cameras. The phone runs HTC’s Sense UI over Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and there is a 3000 mAh battery providing the power to run it.
As what you would be seeing in most of the flagships now, there is a fingerprint scanner and that is placed under the home button on the front. The phone has a USB Type-C port that supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology for a faster charging. For the connectivity options, there is 4G LTE support, Dual band Wi-Fi, NFC, and Bluetooth 4.2.
HTC has claimed that the company has done a lot of testing to check the heating issues and is confident that the phone has a minimal heating on extensive tasks. Alongside that, there were tests done to check the physical strength as well.
