LeEco has mentioned in their recent social media comments that the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for the Le 1s smartphone is undergoing internal testing, and we might soon get an answer to whether the phone will be getting the update or not, and if it is, then an expected date for the same.
The LeTV (LeEco) Le 1s currently runs Android 5.0.2 Lollipop based EUI 5.5.008S, and while it is all good with the performance and features, each of the users would be expecting to see the newer official Android version to be running in the phone.

To purchase the device, you should head to Flipkart (Silver, Gold), where the phone is available exclusively, and there are some offers with it right now.
The Marshmallow update to several smartphones is still just in plans, keeping the users still disappointed and waiting for the update, and with some companies that have their own special UI, they periodically update the UI but not the Android version.
If LeEco decides to update the EUI with some feature upgrades and bug fixes, that will rather be a big disappointment, but since the company has mentioned that they are testing the update and will give an answer soon, we are hopeful of a positive answer from this.
Till then, there is a software update on Le 1s that is arriving to fix the current issues, i.e. the performance, camera and the RAM management issues that users were facing and reporting repeatedly.
Let us wait and watch, to know what LeEco has in plans, and whether the internal testing happens to see the phone working well on the latest Android OS version, i.e. on Android Marshmallow. Are you one of those eagerly waiting to see an update?

Headset volume not balanced
OTG supports for a while and then crashes automatically. Tested other piece of OTG and the result is same. That means there’s a fault in the phone itself. Solve this issue ASAP.

Just today I installer marshmallow update… before that I was eagerly waiting for the update but soon after its installation suddenly it started heating up… and that was the first time I saw that le 1s so much heated up. Then I switched it off and waited it to cool. And then again I switched it on. After watching a movie for 5 min it heated up like hell.. iam completely disappointed
